Thanksgiving and the Zoo

We had a great time in Denver for Thanksgiving. My parents were there and all three of my sisters (that is the first time we have all been together in like 15 years). Anyway I don't have any Thanksgiving pictures, (hopefully I'll be able to round some up),but we also got to go to the zoo, the temple and my nephew's baptism. Thanks Gina for being such a great hostess and letting us all crash at your place, and thanks mom for all the yummy food! Here are some pictures from the kids first trip to the zoo.

Ryan's Birthday!!

Ryan's birthday was on the 28th. I cannot believe that he is already two years old. He is such a sweet little boy and a joy to have around. Here are a couple of my favorite pictures of him when he was little.

He is about six months old right here. I loved these carhartt overalls he is wearing.

This is last summer at the park, so he is about 9 months old.

He is 100% boy, running from morning until night. He has pigeon toes, but that doesn't slow him down one bit. Today we bought pumpkins and he keeps trying to pick them up, and roll them, and sit on them, very cute. He went to the doctor today and he weighs a whooping 33 pounds (Sarah weighed 27 pounds at two). Anyway he is healthy and doing good.

Here are some more pictures of the birthday boy!

Enjoying the cake and ice cream!

Sarah and cousin Madison had fun too.

The cowboy hat was a definite hit, he asks for it first thing in the morning.

Happy birthday little RyRy. We love you!!

Laramie Trip

Well we just got back from a trip to Laramie. It was a lot of fun. We saw lots of family and friends. We got to remember how windy it is in Laramie. It was fun to go to the parade (even though it was a little cold!) and then we went over to tail gate park and let the kids run around. They had all sorts of free food and the kids loved doing the blow-up slides and trampoline jumpers. Clark and my mom went to the game and me and my dad took the kids home to nap. We came home on Mon. to over a foot of snow! We have spent most of the last two days outside building snowmen and shoveling. Anyway, it was a great trip.
Us waiting for the parade to start on Grand.

the orange dress

So a friend in the ward gave me her granddaughters old orange and white striped play dress for Sarah. Now she has to wear it everywhere. If it is dirty, we have to wash it and hang it on the line. The second it is dry, she goes and puts it on. At least now that it is cold, I have convinced her to put pants on under and a shirt on over. This is a picture before her and Clark went to the high school football game. They had a blast and we won be two points. Go Camels!

Birthday Week

This is birthday week at our house. Clark's birthday was on Sat. the 27th, and mine is today. It's hard to believe I am 30, YIKES! Old!! Anyway, on Sat. we headed to Sundance for the day. It was such a beautiful day. We went for a hike, had a picnic, and threw plenty of rocks into the creek. Miraculously enough, no one got wet. We also saw some deer, turkey's, fish, and a snake. Ryan was chucking rocks as big as his head into the water and loved making big splashes! Tonight for my birthday Clark and I are going out to dinner and then having ice cream cake.
